Honoring Ruthenian Heritage through Contemporary Art

At Noble Art Nexus, our mission extends far beyond the walls of a gallery. We are deeply committed to the preservation and celebration of Ruthenian culture, which is rapidly disappearing from the global cultural landscape. As part of this mission, we are honored to be actively connected to the "Pro Arte Ruthenorum" National Prize for Ruthenian Art, named after the renowned painter Ivan Manajlo.

Established on July 6, 2019 by the World Congress of Rusyns in collaboration with the Ruthenian National Self-Government of Vác, Hungary, the Pro Arte Ruthenorum award recognizes outstanding contemporary Ruthenian artists whose creative work contributes meaningfully to the preservation, development, and international promotion of Ruthenian cultural identity.

Pro Arte Ruthenorum Award

Our Contribution

As a gallery representing many artists with Ruthenian roots - such as Andrew Manaylo, Sergey Chubirko, Fedor Krushelnitskiy, and others - Noble Art Nexus plays a pivotal role in amplifying the cultural mission of this award. We do so through:

  • Financial Support: We provide direct contributions to sustain and elevate the award, helping ensure that the legacy of Ruthenian art continues to thrive.

  • International Exhibitions: By showcasing Ruthenian artists at prestigious art fairs and exhibitions across Europe, the U.S., and beyond, we help bring global visibility to their work and to the unique heritage they represent.

  • Curated Collections: Our curated selections often focus on works that explore Ruthenian identity, folklore, and contemporary expression, thereby reinforcing cultural narratives that might otherwise be lost.

  • Educational Initiatives: We promote awareness of Ruthenian art history and its contemporary significance through artist talks, interviews, and special events, offering platforms for dialogue between artists and collectors.

  • Institutional Partnerships: We collaborate with cultural institutions, museums, and academic bodies to further integrate Ruthenian art into public and private collections worldwide.

A Shared Mission

At Noble Art Nexus, we view the Pro Arte Ruthenorum award not only as an honor, but as a shared responsibility - to protect, uplift, and pass on the richness of Ruthenian culture to future generations through the power of visual art.

We invite you to join us in this mission by exploring the works of our represented artists, attending upcoming exhibitions, or supporting the award directly.
